Compass is the foundational developmental programme within Psychernetics, created by Dr Tom Barber to help you move from understanding the architecture of human intelligence to experiencing and strengthening it within everyday life.
Across five progressive stages, you will learn to locate yourself more clearly, remain present under pressure, deliberately cultivate the architecture of integrated human intelligence, develop greater authorship over your responses, and gradually integrate these capacities into the way you live.
Compass is not about fixing yourself, optimising yourself or becoming someone different.
It begins somewhere more fundamental.
Learning to recognise where you are, remain there long enough to see clearly, and participate more consciously in what happens next.

Compass unfolds through five progressive stages. Each builds upon the one before it.
Stage 1 · LOCATING
Where am I?
Learning to recognise where you are operating from before automatic momentum takes over.
Stage 2 · STABILISING
Can I remain here?
Strengthening your ability to remain present long enough for perception to become more reliable, even when pressure, urgency or distraction arise.
Stage 3 · ORIENTING
How can I deliberately strengthen the architecture?
Beginning to cultivate integrated human intelligence through the Four Supporting Pillars of Psychernetic Practice:
Input Integrity · Loop Logic · Signal Sovereignty · Meaning Matrix
Stage 4 · AUTHORSHIP
Who is leading?
Using Co-PILOT to help the architecture organise itself more deliberately under pressure, creating greater space between automatic reaction and conscious response.
Stage 5 · INTEGRATION
Can I live from this consistently?
Allowing what you have deliberately practised to become increasingly available within relationships, decisions, work, pressure and ordinary life.

Compass is self-directed and designed to fit into real life.
Rather than overwhelming you with information, each stage combines clear teaching with brief practices, reflection and integration.
Inside Compass you will find:
Primary Orientation Videos
Teaching from Dr Tom Barber introducing the central developmental movement of each stage as it unfolds.
Clarification Videos and Lessons
Focused teaching addressing common misunderstandings and protecting the integrity of the Psychernetic approach.
Compass Orientation Practices
Short practices designed to bring the architecture out of theory and into everyday experience.
Reflection & Expansion
Carefully structured reflections that deepen understanding without encouraging unnecessary analysis.
Consolidation Audios
Guided audio experiences that create space for the learning and practices of each stage to settle and integrate.
Approximately 25 Hours of CPD
A certificate of completion is available when you complete the programme.
Most individual practices take approximately 5–15 minutes.
As a general guide, Compass can be completed over approximately three to four weeks, although you are encouraged to move at the pace that allows the work to become meaningful rather than simply completed.
